- Battle of the ORGs: For the first time in history of Rockstar Survivor ORG, 5 representatives from each ORG - Brian's Facebook ORG as Batak, Lagrossa ORG as Palawano, Poodle Island ORG as Molbog and Rockstar Survivor ORG as Tagbanwa will battle it out for the title of Ultimate Sole Survivor.
- Hidden Immunity Idols: Its purpose is to, one way or another, negate all votes cast against the holder when he or she chooses to play it. Those Idols are usable until 5 castaways are left in the game.
- Exiled Tribe: In pre-merge phase of this season (active only when there are still 3 to 4 tribes left in the game), the "exiled tribe" chosen by the 1st place tribal immunity winner will be sent to Exile Island (they cannot send their own tribe to Exile Island). All the members of the "exiled tribe" will be given each a clue and will have a privilege to search for the hidden immunity idol.
- Two Tribe Shuffles and Dissolves: There were two tribe shuffles and dissolves in this season. On Day 7, the 4 starting tribes were mixed-up, dividing all the 18 remaining castaways into 3 tribes based on their previous immunity challenge scores - Molbog tribe was dissolved. Also on Day 16, the 3 remaining tribes were mixed-up for the second time, dividing all the 14 remaining castaways into 2 tribes based on their previous immunity challenge scores - Batak tribe was dissolved.
- Double Vote as a Reward: On Final 6 Reward Challenge, a winning player would win a Double Vote as a reward, but can only be used immediately at the succeeding tribal council.
